ERNEO specializes in the design and manufacture of customized electric motors and high-performance magnetic systems for embarked applications. We offer solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each customer.
The R&D work conducted since the company was founded has enabled us to incorporate a wide range of innovations into our designs and products. ERNEO has registered 12 patents since its creation.

Customer needs analysis
The first stage consists of an analysis of the customer’s needs, in order to define the key points of the specifications and perform an initial analysis of possible solutions. During this phase, we work with the customers to fully understand their needs and, if necessary, help them define the requirements that will have a direct impact on the characteristics of the solution.

Customized design
We respond to the specific needs of each application by designing motors that combine performance with the ability to operate under extreme conditions. Depending on the project, this design process involves the company’s various experts in electromagnetics, mechanics and thermodynamics to achieve complete and optimized product sizing.
- Production
Our 1,100 m² facilities are equipped to produce our electric motors in-house, from prototype to series production. We also have an industrial partnership and a network of subcontractors to support us, if required, in higher-volume series production.
- Testsing and validation
Each motor is rigorously tested to ensure compliance with specifications before delivery.

Research for solutions
Electrical machines have been around for over 100 years, and the technologies used have evolved with the emergence of new materials, improved manufacturing processes and new simulation tools. ERNEO masters all electrical machine architectures and technologies, from the most conventional to the most innovative, and offers its customers the solution best suited to their needs (performance, reliability, cost, operation in harsh environments).

Modeling and Simulation
Since its foundation more than 15 years ago, ERNEO has developed and implemented its own design and modeling tools for electromagnetics, control, mechanics and thermodynamics. ERNEO is also equipped with powerful commercial tools for 2D/3D finite element simulations in electromagnetics, mechanics, thermodynamics and CFD.

Precision winding
Our winding expertise enables us to produce various winding types (round wire, flat wire, solenoids, arranged windings, Litz wire, etc.) for radial or axial flux rotary motors, linear motors or magnetic components.

We constantly invest in research to push the performance limits of electrical machines. This enables us to offer solutions adapted to new market demands.

Characterization studies
We can analyze and test various materials, components or assemblies to ensure they meet application requirements (magnetic properties, cryogenic environment, high temperature, outgassing, etc.).
