
High speed electric motor
The ERNEO team has expertise in the design and manufacture of high-speed electric motors. These high-speed machines are used in pumps, hybrid systems, and on-board power generation. ERNEO has worked on several high-speed projects ranging from 30 000 rpm to 100 000 rpm. One of the features of the high-speed structures is their compactness. ERNEO offers solutions for both horizontal and vertical integrations. We also develop high-speed electrical machines for specific environments, notably cryogenic environments (very low temperatures associated with the use of liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen or liquid methane).
Designing a high-speed electric motor
The design of a high-speed structure is the result of precise engineering work in which experts in electromagnetics and mechanics work closely together to select the most suitable architecture, resulting in an optimized design.
Each high-speed electric motor designed and built by ERNEO reflects the specific needs of each application: horizontal or vertical integration, choice of cooling and lubrication, multi-star configuration, field-weakening capacity, synchronous or asynchronous technology, etc.
