Electric motors testing means

Our testing means allow us to conduct experimental tests at all stages of product development, whether for de-risking phases (validation dummies), performance validation tests of prototypes, or approval tests of mass-produced products.

Our Testing Means

Electrical testing:

A secure testing chamber to perform electric motor tests:

  • Speed-regulated servo motors (up to 50 000 rpm)
  • Several test benches, including 2 benches with a mounting block, allowing the testing of motors at very high rotational speeds (up to 100 000 rpm)
  • Torque transducers from 0. 01 N.m to 2000 N.m
  • Speed sensors
  • Hysteresis or eddy-current brakes up to 50 000 rpm with torque or speed regulation
  • Inverters and variable speed drives (including SiC-based inverters) for PM synchronous and asynchronous machines
  • Tests with controlled load or back-to-back tests

Measurement equipment:

  • Three-phase power analyzer,

  • Current and voltage measurement,
  • Temperature measurement, flow rate
  • Data acquisition system, signal processing and analysis software

Cooling and lubrication

Environmental testing: Specific tests can be carried out in furnaces (over 1000°C), ovens or climate chambers. We also have a liquid nitrogen test bench.
